Immanuel Chapel

Careful hand demolition fire-damaged historical chapel at Virginia Theological Seminary.  The work included engineering and re-shoring portions of the existing structure to allow dismantling, cataloguing, and salvage of brick archways and memorial stones, as well as salvage, cataloguing, and packaging of historic artifacts and antique wood and masonry framework for re-use as part of the Memorial Garden.  Extensive coordination between owner, architect, structural engineers, and shoring dismantling was required on a daily basis.
